Level amount

UGLevelAmtWeb

You will often want to fill an entire array with one level amount.  To do so quickly and easily, enter the level amount you want, select the period of years you desire, and click the Apply button.

UGLevelAmt2Web

This tool is helpful even if only part of your schedule is level.  In this case, enter the level amount for all years, then edit directly the years requiring adjustment.

Some arrays have more than one column of data so, in these cases, be sure to specify which column you want the level amount applied to by selecting the corresponding radio button.

Inflation and growth rates

UGGrowth

Some numerical arrays allow for inflation indexing or growth factors.  To illustrate growth or inflation adjustments, simply enter the desired rate, select a second rate if appropriate, and click the Apply button.  Input fields are gray when inflation or growth assumptions do not apply.

Interpolate

UGInterpolate

When you wish to approximate an increasing or decreasing schedule over time, the interpolation function can prove helpful when you don't want to enter precise figures for each year.  After entering point data (say, every five years), select the entire range of years you wish to interpolate, click the Apply button, and the intervening years' zero data will be calculated automatically on a straight-line basis point to point.  Note: Some arrays have more than one column of data so, in these cases, be sure to specify in which column you want interpolation to occur by selecting the corresponding radio button.

Import

UGImport

Some schedules allow you to import data previously stored in the InsMark Source Data Storage or the InsCalc Calculators.  Clicking this button allows you to retrieve such stored data from InsMark's Source Data Storage.

The Import… button either is not displayed or is grayed out when importing data is not a valid option.

InsCalc

UGInscalc

Some schedules allow you to import data from the InsCalc Calculators.  Clicking the InsCalc… button allows you to select data that was previously stored in the InsCalc Calculators.

The InsCalc… button either is not displayed or is grayed out when importing data is not a valid option.

Clear Data

UGBasics3Web

If you need to quickly clear all the data from your input cells, click the Clear Data button.  All values will be set to zero.
