Entering Source Data Manually |
If your carrier does not link to InsMark’s software, you can still link their products with a Superlink or Standalone version of your InsMark product. To enter policy data manually, select Policy Data from the top menu bar of the System. In the Policy Data menu selection, click Create new policy data. An input window will appear where you can enter all necessary policy information to create. Using your carrier’s illustration, enter the values on the appropriate tabs. If you have the ability to print your source proposal to a PDF file or Excel spreadsheet from within the carrier’s illustration software, be sure to do so. Doing so may allow you to copy and paste the data in the tabbed input screens. Sometimes these files can be "locked" so you can’t copy the columns, but quite often they are not locked. For more details on copying and pasting input in InsMark’s schedules, see the section, Numerical Schedules.
