"What-if's" and "Quick Linking"

Previous  Next

Often times you may want to compare various policy options within the concept proposals you generate in the InsMark System.  There are two approaches you can use to quickly and easily develop proposal variations within a client workbook.  The first approach uses the Copy command to create a copy of an existing proposal.  Then, you can edit the copy of the proposal and change the source data to use your revised policy data.

The advantage to the "copy" approach is that you have a saved copy of both variations so that you can go back to either one.  The advantage to the "quick link" is speed, but at the expense of not having a record of all of your work.  The first approach is better suited to situations where you want to give the prospect a few options; the second approach is helpful when you are really trying to zero in on a specific case design, and you need to switch quickly between InsMark and your carrier software.
